Captain Nam is the founder of Out Here Fishing and a USCG-licensed OUPV captain with a passion for fishing the waters of Southern California. What started as a love for being on the water has grown into a community built around fishing, adventure, and experiencing more of what the ocean has to offer.
Whether you're brand new to fishing or an experienced angler, Nam's goal is to give you more than just a fishing trip — it's about having a great day on the water, learning along the way, and most importantly, being present.
Meet The Boat
Our 21' Seaswirl Striper 2101 Center Console is built for fishing the waters of Southern California, from the local coast to offshore waters and Catalina Island. Powered by a Yamaha F225 four-stroke, the boat offers plenty of room to fish comfortably with up to four guests and is equipped with an onboard live bait tank for a full day on the water.

Out Here Fishing charters depart from Huntington Harbour, giving us convenient access to Southern California’s coastal and offshore fishing grounds. Your exact meeting location, launch details, and departure instructions will be provided before your trip.
